




Job Summary: Clinical Laboratory Technician responsible for collection, identification, and preservation of biological samples, with a focus on patient care and regulatory compliance. Strong patient orientation and service vocation **Minimum Requirements:** * Clinical Laboratory Technician diploma. * Accredited training in: * Phlebotomy. * Biosafety. * Sample transport and preservation. * Venipuncture experience. **Mandatory:** * Minimum 2 years of sample collection experience. * Ability to manage difficult patients (e.g., difficult veins, pediatric, elderly). * Knowledge of the pre-analytical phase. * Proficiency in computerized systems and sample registration. * Experience in VIP patient care, with courteous and professional conduct. * Male candidates preferred. **Schedule** * Working hours: 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. **Responsibilities:** * Collect, identify, preserve, and register biological samples according to established procedures. * Receive and label samples. * Verify compliance with pre-analytical requirements for each test. * Provide patients with guidance regarding preparation and sample collection procedures. * Timely record and report incidents related to patient care and sample processing. * Support organization, control, and follow-up of operational pending tasks within the laboratory area. * Maintain order and up-to-date records and documentation of the service. * Assist in scheduling, rescheduling, and tracking patient appointments, as well as coordinating and referring patients to external providers for complementary tests or procedures, ensuring proper traceability and continuity of care. * Coordinate with various clinical and administrative departments to ensure timely patient care. * Adhere to biosafety standards, ensure correct identification, labeling, and preservation of samples, and maintain the cold chain. * Perform duties both at medical centers and at patients' homes/workplaces/health campaigns. * Manage a field kit containing pre-counted materials, using a checklist both upon departure and return to ensure accurate field material control. * Accurately document all patient encounters and promptly report incidents. * Manage pending tasks and follow up with patients, prioritizing critical cases. * Identify incidents and communicate them promptly. * Problem-solving orientation and teamwork skills. * Other related duties assigned within the scope of competence. **Soft Skills:** * Patient orientation and service vocation. * Effective communication and courteous demeanor. * Organization and pending-task management. * Proactivity and initiative. * Problem-solving ability. * Teamwork and collaboration. * Responsibility and commitment. * Adaptability and ability to work under pressure. * Attention to detail and timely activity follow-up.
