Job Summary: We are seeking a Safety Engineer for our Yauricocha Mining Unit, with experience in occupational safety and health management systems, risk management, and accident investigation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the identification and mitigation of mining risk scenarios. 2. Supervise the occupational safety and health system at the mining unit. 3. Apply ICAM and Bow Tie methodologies in mining safety. Full Time On-site Safety We are currently seeking a Safety Engineer for our Yauricocha Mining Unit. Requirements * Degree holder and licensed in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Occupational Hygiene and Safety Engineering, and/or related fields. * 3 years of experience in similar positions. * Knowledge of current national legislation. Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Knowledge of accident investigation (ICAM methodology). Knowledge of risk management (Bow Tie methodology). Technical report writing and presentation skills. Responsibilities * Participate in the identification of risk scenarios (Categories 4 and 5\) with area leaders and ensure analysis, identification, and implementation of critical controls using the Bow Tie methodology to mitigate such scenarios. * Supervise the occupational safety and health system at the unit and ensure compliance with the Annual Safety Program under MASSTC system guidelines. * Participate in the implementation of Critical Risks, as well as compliance with applicable legal regulations and internal company policies. * Participate in audits and inspections conducted by state regulatory agencies (OSINERGMIN, SUNAFIL, MINTRA, etc.), as well as internal company audits. * Document findings from internal and external audits, as well as those identified during the application of management tools. * Actively participate in incident investigations, ensuring application of the ICAM methodology. * Participate in shift scheduling across various departments to ensure coverage and support for identified critical operations; likewise, monitor incidents per shift and provide preventive support. * Provide administrative support for unit safety management when required. ### **Alpayana** #### **Mining** **Peru, Lima, Lima** We are Alpayana, a mining group committed to sustainable mining, positively contributing to our environment through every action we undertake.
