Welding Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a welding technician with experience in industrial plants to perform assembly, installation, and welding of pipelines and metal structures, mechanical part repair, and operation of instruments. Key Highlights: 1. Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and TIG welding 2. Experience in assembly and welding of pipelines and metal structures 3. Knowledge of mechanical part repair and oxy-fuel cutting **Education:** * Graduate technician from **SENATI** or another technical institution in **Welding, Production Mechanics, or related fields**. **Experience:** * Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience as a welder in **industrial plants** or metalworking workshops. * Preferred experience in **industrial environments** (textile, food, manufacturing, or others). **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in **Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)** and desirable experience in **TIG welding**. * Experience in **assembly, installation, and welding of iron and stainless steel pipelines**, including flanges, fittings, threaded and grooved pipes. * Knowledge of **assembly and welding of metal structures** (beams, trusses, gates, metal supports, etc.). * Experience in **mechanical part repair**, including beveling, filling, and restoration of worn or fractured components. * Knowledge of **oxy-fuel cutting** for material preparation and disassembly of seized parts. * Ability to perform **mechanical component assembly and disassembly** (gears, pulleys, cams, transmission systems). * Proficiency in using **measuring instruments**: calipers (Vernier), gauges, and hand tools. * Knowledge of **reading and interpreting mechanical drawings**. * Familiarity with **non-destructive testing (NDT)**. **Competencies:** * Responsibility and commitment to safety. * Organization and proper care of tools and equipment. * Proactivity and focus on work quality.
