Support in implementing improvements and new technologies On behalf of the **Office of Information Technologies**, we are seeking 1 **Videoconferencing Technician** meeting the following profile: **Job Mission:** To provide support for the management and operational execution of videoconference requests through coordination, transportation, installation and configuration of equipment, maintenance, among others, to contribute to the development of activities carried out by the academic-administrative units of PUCP. **Responsibilities:** * Respond to assigned videoconference requests, performing related tasks such as technical feasibility coordination, transportation, installation, configuration, operation and monitoring of equipment, video editing and publishing, among others, to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements as established. * Identify technical difficulties related to required equipment and procedures, reporting them to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action. * Assist in equipment maintenance and security, inventory management, among others, to ensure proper functioning of equipment supporting service delivery. * Provide support in implementing process improvements and new technologies to contribute to achieving the Unit’s objectives. * Perform other related or complementary duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Technical professional in Computer Science, Audiovisual Communication, or Telecommunications. * Intermediate-level Office proficiency * Intermediate-level English proficiency * Live Streaming Software: e.g., Wirecast, vMix; knowledge of streaming technologies and automatic transmission equipment such as Ephyfan * Video, Audio, and Image Editing Software: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Audition, After Effects), Sony Vegas * Knowledge of Telecommunications Equipment, e.g., Polycom * Knowledge of Recording Equipment: camera operation, sound systems with mixing consoles, audio handling, etc. * Knowledge of Web-based Videoconferencing Platforms: Webex, Zoom, etc. * Networking knowledge relevant to configuration of used equipment * Knowledge of audio and video codec handling Salary: S/.2,400.00 per month Application Question(s): * What is your field of study and academic degree (e.g., graduate, degree holder)? * Are you available to work onsite in San Miguel, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.? * What is your salary expectation?
