In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—contributing to the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** * Conduct inspections and sampling in accordance with the Inspection Order, procedures, operational instructions, and SGS instructions under the supervision of the responsible person. * Keep the Lead Inspector, Coordinator, or Project Leader informed about the progress of the inspection. * Participate in the opening and closing meetings of the service. * Prepare inspection-specific documents, where applicable. * Report any non-conformities identified during the inspection to the Lead Inspector, Operations Coordinator, or Project Leader, to enable appropriate corrective actions. * Ensure timely submission of operational expense and/or travel reports, as well as service deliverables, information synchronization, and other agreed-upon items from the opening and closing meetings, according to the scheduled deadlines. * Report monitoring equipment and vehicles assigned to an inspection order that require maintenance or calibration observations, and ensure all resources assigned to the service are returned in good condition. * Participate in the 5-Minute Safety Talks. * Complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) form before commencing work. * Submit a monthly report on unsafe acts and/or conditions via Intelex. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or Technical diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields. * Minimum 12 months of experience conducting environmental monitoring.
