Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Field Engineer to lead technical specification and ensure Hilti’s participation in large-scale projects across the Energy & Industry sectors in Peru. IMPROVE THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH HILTI We are looking to bring a Senior Field Engineer onto our Engineering team in Peru. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison in project development from early-stage design and specification within the Energy & Industry segment—particularly in mining, oil, and gas projects. You will be a strategic partner to each client, demonstrating the value of our solutions from the specification stage onward and ensuring our involvement throughout every phase of the project until completion. You will work closely with our commercial and technical engineering teams, exercising influence and leadership to increase our share in each project. WHAT YOU WILL DO '- Lead technical specification in industrial, mining, and Oil & Gas projects, positioning Hilti solutions from design through to project completion. * Conduct field visits to mining and industrial operations to deliver demonstrations, technical validations, and customer support. * Maintain ongoing contact with our clients, engineering consultancies, industrial companies, and their respective departments—engineering, procurement, and project management—demonstrating the value of our solutions in their projects and operations. * Identify projects at early stages, map key stakeholders, and generate highly qualified opportunities to develop jointly with the commercial team. * Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Developers, and the technical engineering team to ensure conversion of specifications into sales, engaging each client strategically. * Serve as a key liaison to secure our participation in large-scale projects—from design and specification through to project completion—coordinating and collaborating with our internal teams. WHAT YOU WILL BRING '- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronic-Electrical, or Mining Engineering. * Minimum 8 years of prior experience in mining, construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects, including field exposure. * Prior experience in commercial or customer-facing technical advisory roles within the sector. * Strong competencies in project planning and execution processes, with understanding across all phases from initiation to closure. * Ability to present comprehensive value propositions, considering technical, commercial, and other relevant factors. * Conversational English (mandatory). * Leadership, influence, and team management skills. * CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) preferred; SAP experience ideal. * Willingness and ability to travel frequently to operational sites. * Valid driver's license.
