Position Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to verify the implementation of preventive and corrective environmental measures, coordinate with authorities, and promote sustainability on a construction project in Lima. As leaders in innovation and technological development, we seek experts to drive sustainable development and deliver solutions to the world’s greatest challenges, such as global warming, overpopulation, and water scarcity.** **Position Description** At **ACCIONA**, for its **CONSTRUCTION** business, we require hiring an **ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST** for a project in Lima. **MISSION:** The professional will be responsible for verifying, both on-site and in-office, the timely and effective implementation of preventive, corrective, and environmental control measures; monitoring key indicators; managing waste; protecting natural resources (water, soil, air, flora, fauna); and ensuring that work fronts operate within required environmental standards. In addition, they will coordinate with technical teams, contractors, and competent authorities (e.g., SENACE, OEFA, MINAM, or local governments) to maintain traceability of environmental commitments, prepare follow-up reports, and promptly address contingencies or regulatory inspection requirements. Their work will align with the organization’s sustainability policy, promoting sound environmental practices and a culture of ecological responsibility among all project personnel. **Candidate Requirements** **REQUIREMENTS** **Academic Qualifications:** * Environmental Engineer, Biologist, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineer, Forestry Engineer, Geographical Engineer, or Civil Engineer. **Experience:** * **General Experience:** 3 years of professional experience following graduation or issuance of the corresponding diploma (for foreign professionals). * **Specific Experience:** Experience in at least one (01\) similar construction project, performing environmental management, environmental impact assessment, environmental oversight, or monitoring and compliance with environmental commitments related to construction works. **Location:** * Metropolitan Lima **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervise, verify, coordinate, and manage the proper implementation of environmental measures in accordance with applicable environmental regulations governing the construction project and any additional measures required by the Project Manager.
