Job Description We are looking for a highly qualified **Community Relations Manager** to lead the social management strategy across our construction and large-scale infrastructure projects. The primary objective of this position is to design, implement, and supervise community relations plans that ensure the social viability of projects. The incumbent will serve as the main liaison between the company, local populations, authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring an environment of mutual respect, constructive dialogue, and social conflict mitigation. Main Responsibilities * **Strategic Planning:** Develop and execute the Community Relations Plan (CRP) and social investment programs aligned with corporate policies and current legal regulations. * **Conflict Prevention and Management:** Continuously monitor the social climate in project-affected areas, identifying potential risks and designing timely mitigation strategies. * **Institutional Engagement:** Establish and maintain transparent, effective communication channels with community leaders and local, regional, and governmental authorities. * **Dialogue Platform:** Lead negotiation, mediation, and consensus-building processes with communities to obtain and sustain the social license to operate. * **Social Investment Oversight:** Coordinate local development projects and corporate social responsibility programs that generate positive, sustainable community impact. * **Team and Contractor Management:** Supervise field-based community relations staff and ensure subcontractors comply with the organization’s social standards. * **Reporting and Metrics:** Prepare social management reports, impact KPIs, and departmental budgets for senior management. Profile Requirements * **Academic Qualification:** University degree in Social Sciences (Sociology, Anthropology, Social Communication, Social Work), Law, Engineering, or related fields. * **Specialization:** Postgraduate studies in Social Management, Conflict Resolution, Corporate Social Responsibility, or Sustainable Development are desirable. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading community relations functions, with proven experience in the **construction, infrastructure, mining, or energy sectors** (large-scale projects). * **Key Knowledge:** Strong understanding of applicable environmental and social regulations in the sector, stakeholder mapping methodologies, and negotiation techniques. * **Soft Skills:** Excellent assertive communication skills, empathy, resilience, strong negotiation ability, and leadership of multicultural teams.
