Position Summary: We are seeking a Social Manager to monitor the social climate, support communication, execution of commitments, and sustainable development programs at a Mining Unit. Participation in sustainable development programs **Date:** Apr 28, 2026 **Location:** 14 \- LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are looking for a **Social Manager – Mining Unit:** **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct social analysis of the mining unit's environment to monitor the social climate among the Operation's stakeholder groups. * Support the implementation of communication strategies defined by the Superintendence of Social Affairs to ensure messages reach the population and stakeholder groups appropriately. * Support the execution and monitoring of social commitments undertaken by the Unit to help preserve stakeholder trust in the Unit. * Support the implementation of the Unit's sustainable development programs to strengthen harmonious relationships and coexistence with the surrounding communities. **Professional Profile:** * Degree in Social Sciences, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, or Social Responsibility. * Experience engaging with and working alongside social groups in high Andean regions. * Intermediate-level Quechua language proficiency (not mandatory) * Willingness to work onsite at the Mining Unit ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any payments to participate in its recruitment processes.
