




Position Summary: We are seeking a licensed and registered Engineer with experience in implementing and operating metallurgical laboratories for mining, involved in technical, economic, and implementation aspects of laboratory projects. Key Highlights: 1. Proven experience in implementing mining laboratories 2. Expertise in ISO 17025-accredited processes and laboratory start-up 3. Active participation in technical and economic sizing of services **Licensed and registered Engineer** in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical-Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related disciplines linked to metallurgical and mineral laboratories. **Proven experience in:** * Implementation of mining and/or mineral concentrate laboratories accredited by INACAL and DICAPI (MANDATORY) * Laboratories for copper, molybdenum, zinc, or other concentrates (MANDATORY) * Design of sample reception, preparation, and analysis workflows * Specification of crushing, grinding, drying, and analytical equipment * Laboratory operational cost estimation * Definition of technical staffing requirements for laboratories * ISO 17025-accredited processes * Start-up projects for mining laboratories * Laboratory services for mining operations **Responsibilities:** PHASE 1: Technical and Economic Sizing * Review documentation * Assess estimated volumes of copper and molybdenum concentrate samples * Define required laboratory operational capacity * Propose conceptual laboratory layout * Define operational workflow from sample receipt to result issuance * Recommend primary and auxiliary equipment * Define minimum infrastructure requirements * Estimate technical personnel and supervision staffing * Prepare preliminary CAPEX and OPEX cost structure * Propose expected productivity per shift and daily capacity * Identify technical risks and bottlenecks * Prepare technical and economic proposal, supported by the proposals team * Address internal technical queries * Advise on service sizing PHASE 2: Addressing Observations * Prepare additional supporting technical documentation requested by the client after proposal submission * Participate in virtual technical meetings, as required, to defend the offer before the end-user department, representing OCA Global PHASE 3: Implementation (Subject to service award) * Validate purchase or selection of critical equipment * Advise on initial laboratory implementation * Review actual operational workflow versus design * Recommend start-up improvements * Support initial technical commissioning Service Duration: 3 months or longer (intermittent) Location: 100% remote, with occasional visits to Matarani Port Terminal (Tisur) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (48 hours per week) If you thrive on challenges and wish to join an organization committed to excellence and sustainability, we look forward to welcoming you!
