Our Geology team is growing, and we are currently recruiting a Senior Geological Engineer to join our Global Consulting business line in the Lima office. **About You** * Licensed and registered Mining, Civil, or Geological Engineer with over 8 years of experience in underground mining. * Postgraduate studies in Geotechnics or Geomechanics (desirable). * Experience in design, reinforcement, operation, and implementation of underground mining ground support. * Proven experience in underground mining methods and geomechanical mapping. * Experience in blast design, control, and operation. * Knowledge of underground mine ventilation systems and auxiliary components. * Knowledge of hydraulic fill design and operation. * Mining planning knowledge desirable. * Software proficiency: RS2, FLAC 2D, Unwedge, Slide. * Intermediate English. **About the Role** * Preparation of geomechanical reports and risk assessments. * Development of geomechanical models. * Definition and design of underground mining extraction, ground support, and monitoring systems. * Preparation of geomechanics-related proposals. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
