Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Technician with experience in underground mining to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment. Welding and assembly of major components **MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN \- UNDERGROUND MINE REQUIREMENTS:** * Certified Technician in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in underground mining performing the following tasks: * Experience in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, repair of motorized equipment in mine and surface maintenance, and related activities. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conduct evaluation and diagnosis of failures in operational equipment. * Properly execute disassembly, evaluation, and spare parts requisition processes for repairs, following established procedures. * Carry out daily, periodic, and/or occasional major repairs, assembly, measurement, testing, calibration, adjustments, wear inspections, cleaning, modifications, and other tasks performed on equipment undergoing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. * Perform repair and assembly of major components (differential axle, transmission box, engines, transfer case). * Execute preventive and predictive maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in general, engines, and others as specified by technical requirements. Also conduct operational tests on facilities, machinery, and equipment subjected to maintenance and/or repairs prior to handover to mine operations personnel. * Perform general cleaning, washing, greasing, oil changes, and filter replacements for each equipment requiring such services. * Perform welding tasks, preceded by layout as required, either to fabricate, modify, and/or adapt simple or moderately complex components using welding equipment; likewise, apply weld material to required areas (steering stops, filters, etc.). **WHAT WE OFFER?** * Formal employment contract with all statutory benefits. * Transportation, meals, and camp accommodation. * Work schedule: 14 days on \* 7 days off. * Willingness to work in CHALA\-AREQUIPA.
