Job Summary: We are seeking a Food Auditor to assess compliance with quality and food safety standards in fast-food franchises, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities. Collaboration with an international company specializing in audits. **Location:** Lima, Peru An international company specializing in food-sector audits is seeking a **Food Auditor** to assess compliance with quality and food safety standards in fast-food franchises. Hiring is conducted under the **Independent Professional Service Provider** model; therefore, we seek candidates available to travel across various regions of the country. Travel expenses for out-of-town audits (transportation, accommodation, and meals) are covered according to company policy. Requirements * Completed education in: * Food Engineering. * Chemical Engineering with a focus on Food. * Food Technician or Food Technologist. * Industrial Engineering with a food focus. * Or a related field. * Gender: Not specified. * Residence in Lima. * Availability to travel within the country. * Availability to participate in a two-week training program (virtual and in-store practical sessions). **Training is unpaid.** * Availability to initially purchase required work materials. Costs will be reimbursed after three months of active project participation. Responsibilities * Conduct audits in accordance with client-established standards and protocols. * Assess compliance with quality, food safety, and hygiene standards. * Identify deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities. * Prepare audit reports and checklists. * Promptly report any critical findings to coordination, following established protocols. * Follow up on evidence records and required documentation. Knowledge * Quality Management Systems. * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * HACCP, FSSC 22000, BRC, or equivalent systems. * Food production processes in plants, restaurants, industrial cafeterias, and distribution centers. * Second- and third-party audits. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools. * Information analysis and report preparation. * Internal Auditor certification is desirable. Position Conditions * Hiring as an **Independent Professional Service Provider**. * Payment of **$45 USD per completed audit**. * Starting with an average of **10 audits per month**, with potential to increase workload and become certified to audit new brands. * Each audit lasts approximately **2 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes**. * The auditor independently organizes their own schedule, routes, and audit calendar. * Travel expenses (transportation, accommodation, and meals) for audits outside the city are covered per company policy. * Initial two-week training (virtual and in-store practical sessions), **unpaid**. * Reimbursement of work materials after three months of active participation.
