




Job Summary: We are seeking an Import Assistant to manage quotations, coordinate orders, control inventory, and provide administrative support for an industrial company. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administrative support in the import area An industrial company is looking for an Import Assistant who will perform the following duties: Duties: * Issue quotations to foreign suppliers based on inventory levels, periodic consumption, or customer and distributor requirements. * Coordinate import orders with management. * Request quotations from and evaluate proposals by freight forwarders and customs agents. * Schedule and coordinate overseas transfers according to each supplier’s payment terms. * Arrange cargo transportation insurance policies with insurance brokers. * Request documents from suppliers (invoice, packing list, other certificates depending on the country, and bill of lading if applicable). * Deliver endorsed documents to the customs agent for customs clearance of the cargo. * Coordinate with the warehouse to verify inventory of imported goods, ensuring alignment with supplier invoices, and enter goods into inventory and system records. * Daily inventory control. * Prepare cost tables and price lists for each import. * Settle and deliver import documentation to the accounting department. * Support other tasks assigned by the import department or management. * Perform other administrative duties. Requirements: * Experience in imports and administration * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook * Minimum age: 20 years Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Starting at S/.1,130.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
