Coordination with customs agents and carriers A company dedicated to the school supplies sector is looking for a candidate for the position of Import Assistant: Responsibilities: * Analyze and compare logistics service rates: customs, transportation, freight, and warehousing. * Quote and evaluate costs associated with import operations. * Update and maintain current rate lists from various logistics providers. * Continuously monitor orders and coordinate to ensure adherence to delivery deadlines. * Analyze national market product trends to propose improvements and innovations. * Provide management with reports on the status of logistics processes. * Coordinate with customs agents, carriers, and warehouses to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: * Technical graduate, bachelor’s degree holder, or final-cycle student in International Trade, International Business, or related fields. * Basic English language proficiency. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word). * Basic knowledge of import processes, international logistics, and customs documentation is desirable. * Availability for on-site work. * Availability to work Monday to Friday from 9:45 am to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm.
