Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrician Technician with experience in industrial electrical maintenance and grounding systems for projects at Peruvian Terminals. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in grounding well maintenance and construction 2. Proficiency in exothermic welding (Cadweld) and soil treatment 3. Expert operation of tellurometer and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (CNE) **Project:** Maintenance and Construction of 5 Grounding Wells \- Peruvian Terminals. **Reports to:** PDR Supervisor / Site Resident. 1\. Education and Experience (Exclusionary Criteria) * **Education:** Certified or graduated Electrician Technician (SENATI, TECSUP, GAMOR, or equivalent institutions). * **General Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance. * **Specific Experience:** Must have executed **at least 5 verified projects** involving construction or maintenance of Grounding Systems (GSS). * **Sector:** Prior experience in hydrocarbon plants (TDP, Petroperú, Repsol) or mining is desirable (due to stringent safety requirements). 2\. Critical Technical Knowledge * **Exothermic Welding (Cadweld):** Full proficiency in using graphite molds, charges, and igniters. (A defective weld point results in immediate rejection at TDP.) * **Soil Treatment:** Experience in preparing and dosing gels (Thor\-Gel), conductive cement, and bentonite. Knowledge of layer application techniques to ensure low resistance. * **Instrumentation:** Expert operation of **tellurometer** (with valid calibration certificate) for resistance measurement using the Fall-of-Potential method (62% Method). * **Regulations:** Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (CNE) provisions regarding GSS. 3\. Primary Field Responsibilities * Perform excavation (or supervise assistant) ensuring regulatory well dimensions. * Install electrodes (copper rods) and coils/balances. * Execute splices (cable\-cable, cable\-rod), ensuring cleanliness and pore-free finish. * Install concrete inspection boxes and safety signage. * Conduct final resistance measurements and **sign the Test Protocol** (deliverable document to client). * Install conduit pipes and wiring connections to panels or structures requiring grounding. 4\. Safety Requirements (SSOMA \- Mandatory for TDP) * **Zero Fear of Documentation:** Must be able to complete an ATS (Safe Work Analysis) and actively participate in ongoing IPERC. * **High-Risk Permits:** Knowledge of procedures for **Hot Work** (welding) and **Excavations**. * **PPE:** Accustomed to full PPE usage (hard hat, safety goggles, respirator for metal fumes, chrome leather gloves, dielectric footwear). * **Health:** Valid medical fitness certificate (EMO) for industrial work. 5\. Personal Tools (Optional but Recommended) * Candidates possessing tools such as *tellurometers and similar instruments* will be favored.
