Ensure operational availability of mining equipment. **Job Description:** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Mechanical Technician in Automotive Mechanics, Heavy Machinery Maintenance, or related field. * 2 years of experience in mining operations. * Advanced knowledge of low-profile equipment hydraulic systems, transmission systems, internal combustion engine systems, and electrical systems. * Basic welding knowledge (OPTIONAL). * Ability to read mechanical and hydraulic drawings. * Knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Conduct inspections and lubrication at the start of each shift on equipment, immediately resolving any faults detected during inspection that could cause stoppages and losses during operations. 2\. Ensure equipment is in operational condition and ready for use. 3\. Carry out preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance tasks on assets (scoops, Jumbos, light and heavy equipment), adhering to standards and PETS applicable to each specific task. 4\. Support operations technicians in resolving faults reported by operators during operations; depending on fault criticality, notify the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager for evaluation, scheduling, and coordination with the operations area. 5\. Diagnose fault criticality across various systems, determining whether major repairs (equipment shutdown) are required. 6\.
