Job Summary: Execute the internal audit plan, evaluating the internal control system and administrative and financial information to verify compliance with regulations and propose improvements. Prepare risk and forensic audit reports **JOB MISSION:** Execute the internal audit plan by evaluating the operation of the internal control system over operational processes and projects, as well as administrative, financial, operational, and non-operational information, in order to verify compliance with all internal policies and applicable regulations, and to propose recommendations and corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Execute the internal audit plan, including audits assigned to third parties. * Prepare and/or execute the work program and established procedures for assigned audits, including analysis of information (financial, operational, non-operational, project-related, and compliance-related) and field inspections to verify the accuracy and authenticity of reviewed information. * Propose recommendations and support departments in preparing action plans, tracking implementation of action plans and deficiencies identified during audits. * Prepare risk and forensic audit reports containing identified conclusions, deficiencies, improvement opportunities, and supporting documentation. * Prepare management reports requested by senior management (e.g., audit work plan completion status, follow-up on observations identified in MCP and those required by the parent company, ethics hotline monitoring, and KPI compliance). * Address and implement the complaint investigation process as required. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine developed and operated from inception abroad by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at an altitude of over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and the largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary of CHINALCO. Requirements **1\.\- Majors:** ACCOUNTING, ADMINISTRATION, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, SYSTEMS ENGINEERING, RELATED ENGINEERING FIELDS **2\.\- Experience:** 5 years overall, 3 years in the sector, 3 years in the position **3\.\- Technical Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), WORD (Intermediate), SAP Financial Accounting (FI) \- Submodules GL, AP, AR, AA, PS (Intermediate) **4\.\- Certifications:** 3 years’ experience with Big Four firms **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of internal control * Risk management (COSO and COSO ERM) * Regulations of the PLAFTAC system * Regulatory knowledge in mining management * Project management * Knowledge of international auditing standards * Knowledge of finance and accounting * Knowledge of audit systems * Process analysis * Knowledge of forensic auditing * Database management and ACL scripts Benefits Benefits according to law and the Management Compensation Policy (MCP).
