Positive work environment **Job Offer: Kitchen Assistant – Cafeteria** We are looking for a proactive and organized **kitchen assistant**, eager to learn and support food preparation in a high-volume cafeteria. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare and weigh ingredients according to established recipes. * Assist in preparing doughs, creams, fillings, cakes, cookies, sweet breads, and other bakery products. * Collaborate in assembling, filling, and decorating cakes, desserts, and display-case items. * Ensure the workstation is adequately stocked with necessary supplies for daily production. * Bake products following times and temperatures specified by the supervising pastry chef. * Clean, wash, and disinfect utensils, equipment, and work areas before, during, and after production. * Verify the quality and freshness of ingredients prior to use. * Label and store prepared products correctly, applying the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) or FIFO (First In, First Out) system. * Strictly comply with hygiene, food safety, and occupational health and safety standards. * Assist in inventory control of supplies and promptly report replenishment needs. * Collaborate in receiving and storing raw materials. * Minimize waste by using materials responsibly. * Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing dessert display case. * Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or production anomalies. * Adhere to the daily production schedule set by the pastry supervisor. * Assist in preparing special orders and seasonal items. * Participate in deep-cleaning activities for the pastry area. * Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Required Competencies** * Organization and tidiness. * Teamwork. * Attention to detail. * Responsibility and punctuality. * **Requirements:** * Minimum 3–6 months of kitchen experience (preferred but not mandatory). * Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. * Tidiness, speed, and responsibility. * Positive attitude and punctuality. * Availability for rotating shifts. **We Offer:** * Market-competitive salary. * Positive work environment. * Continuous training. * Opportunity for growth within the company **Location:** \[Jesus Maria (new location) and Miraflores] Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,300\.00 \- S/.1,500\.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
