MECHANICAL TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR

Position Summary: We are seeking a technician or engineer to evaluate and repair mining equipment and components, including hydraulic cylinders and axles, with a focus on safety and customer site visits. Key Highlights: 1. Evaluation and repair of mining and construction equipment. 2. Interpretation of hydraulic and electrical drawings. 3. Technical advisory and equipment follow-up at mining units. **MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Evaluation and repair of underground and surface mining equipment and components. Yellow line. * Disassembly, evaluation, and repair of hydraulic cylinders, differential axles, brake assemblies, pumps, valves, hydraulic hammers, and others. * Measurement of parts using precision instruments. * Interpretation of hydraulic and electrical drawings. * Preparation of evaluation and repair reports. * Knowledge of machining processes and welding. * Customer site visits at mining units, technical advisory, and equipment follow-up. * Willingness to travel throughout the country. * Knowledge and practical application of safe work policies and controls related to operational risk prevention. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** * Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair activities for heavy equipment related to mining and construction sectors. **EDUCATION** * Technical or university education in heavy machinery maintenance and/or mechanics. * Proven knowledge in repair and maintenance of mining and construction equipment and components. * English at basic-to-intermediate level (desirable). * Intermediate-level MS Office (*Excel, Word, and PowerPoint*). * AutoCAD, SolidWorks (desirable). * Certification or advanced knowledge of welding. * Valid driver's license Class A-I (Class A-II desirable). * Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management System; safe work procedures; use of personal protective equipment.
