Position Objective:** **1\.\-** ***EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS*** Develop learning processes based on the competency approach through the design of learning experiences. Foster critical thinking, reasoning, and creativity in teaching-learning processes. Establish coexistence grounded in respect by using formative mechanisms for regulating student behavior. Adequately address classroom diversity by considering students’ individual, cultural, and learning characteristics. Develop strategies to implement formative and certifying assessment toward achieving student competencies. Keep up-to-date the technical-pedagogical documentation corresponding to the duties performed. **II. Main Functions** **1\.\-** ***EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS*** 1\. Carry out technical-pedagogical work within the classroom. 2\. Periodically participate in the evaluation and self-evaluation processes established by the institution. 3\. Participate, when convened, in the development and evaluation of the Institutional Educational Project and the Institutional Curricular Project. 4\. Know and enforce the school’s internal regulations. 5\. Submit the Curriculum Planning, according to the established schedule, to the Age Group Lead Teacher, aligned with the corresponding grade or subject area. 6\. Appropriately address classroom diversity by understanding students’ characteristics and responding to their needs. 7\. Conduct formative assessment of assigned students and timely inform parents; keep assessments updated in the SIAGIE system and the school’s platform. 8\. Supervise the management of materials and space (classroom). 9\. Ensure the maintenance and order of educational resources and materials, furniture, and infrastructure. 10\. Attend to students, safeguarding their health, safety, and well-being during their time at school. 11\. Identify potential issues affecting students’ holistic development and report them promptly to the Level Coordination for referral to the appropriate department. 12\. Schedule personal interviews with parents in advance, mutually agreeing on date and time. 13\. Collaborate collegially with Age Group Lead Teachers on technical-pedagogical matters. 14\. Prioritize student attention during working hours (including covering for substitutes as delegated by superiors), fulfilling this responsibility punctually. 15\. Perform any other duties assigned by superiors that are inherent to the position. **III. Requirements** ● University professional degree in Education Sciences or Pedagogy, specialized in Early Childhood Education. ● Five years of teaching experience. ● Full-time position, Comas campus. **V. Professional Competencies** ● Proficiency in technical-pedagogical tools. ● Situational management and leadership capacity. ● Knowledge and understanding of components of the National Basic Education Curriculum (NBECC). ● Knowledge and understanding of developmental characteristics of early childhood students (ages 3, 4, and 5) according to their level of formation and context of the campus to which they apply. ● Leadership in teaching quality to promote higher-order skills. **VI.
