Job Summary:
The Raw & Pack Analyst ensures compliance with Nestlé’s technical specifications and quality standards by managing the analysis, release, and monitoring of materials.
Key Responsibilities:

**Department:** Quality Assurance **Purpose of the Position:**
To ensure that raw materials and packaging materials comply with Nestlé’s technical specifications, quality and safety requirements through their analysis, release, and monitoring — guaranteeing correct implementation of the Nestlé Management System (NMS) and Good Storage Practices (GSP). Additionally, provides technical support to the factory in evaluating defects, incidents, and implementing continuous improvement systems; and supports, when required, the release of finished products. **A Day in the Life of …** **Quality System:**
* Define, update, and maintain procedures, instructions, and QMS documents associated with the material release process (ROH \& ZPCK)
* Ensure accurate documentation, record control, and traceability for all activities within the release process
* Ensure correct application and compliance with the Nestlé Management System (NMS) in processes related to raw materials and packaging materials.
* Execute control, inspection, analysis, and release activities for raw materials and packaging materials in accordance with technical specifications, monitoring plans, and traceability requirements.
* Verify compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) and other quality and safety prerequisites in receiving and storage areas.
* Manage deviations and non-conformities related to raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring proper documentation, analysis, and escalation
* Manage and follow up on supplier quality complaints, ensuring effective resolution of non-conformities per Nestlé’s quality system.
* Support internal and external audits regarding compliance with the management system and material release processes
* Contribute to continuous quality system improvement by identifying risks, opportunities, and preventive actions using problem-solving tools and trend analysis
* Review and update microbiological, physicochemical, and contaminant monitoring plans for raw materials and packaging materials, aligned with Nestlé standards and risk analysis.
* Ensure correct configuration and maintenance of quality parameters in SAP for raw materials and packaging materials, guaranteeing accurate release, blocking, and system traceability
* Ensure governance and consistency of quality views in SAP
Handle, review, and manage internal complaints / observations related to raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring proper technical evaluation and follow-up of actions.

**Analytical Methods and Tests:**
* Apply sampling plans and acceptance tables (AQL / military standard table) for material release
* Ensure compliance with the microbiological, physicochemical, and contaminant monitoring plan for materials
* Evaluate and interpret analytical results to support material release, deviation management, and decision-making
* Verify that analyses are performed in accordance with current monitoring plans and technical specifications.
* Follow up on out-of-specification (OOS) results, ensuring proper investigation, documentation, and escalation
* Coordinate with internal and/or external laboratories for analysis execution, validating result integrity and reliability.
* Conduct and evaluate sensory analysis of raw materials, where applicable, to verify compliance with technical specifications.
**Results Reporting and Release:**
* Analyze, consolidate, and timely report inspection and analysis results for raw materials and packaging materials in SAP
* Review and evaluate Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for raw materials and packaging materials as part of the release process, verifying compliance with technical specifications and acceptance criteria
* Lead risk assessment and preparation of exceptional release reports for non-conforming raw materials and packaging materials, per NMS requirements.
* Identify and promptly report anomalies and out-of-specification (OOS) results, performing appropriate escalation and recording quality deviations in SAP.
* Analyze trends in results and quality indicators, timely reporting deviations to trigger preventive or corrective actions.
* Follow up and communicate release status and associated actions to involved departments.
* Provide technical support for finished product release, when required, based on quality criteria, NMS requirements, and analytical results.
* Provide technical support in investigating quality complaints and incidents, contributing to result analysis and identification of technical root causes.
* Verify and ensure alignment between current specifications, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and SAP inspection plans as part of the evaluation, release, or blocking process for raw materials and packaging materials.
* Prepare and document risk assessments for extending the shelf life of packaging materials.
**Quality Auditing and Verification:*** Participation in internal and external audits of the Quality Management System (NMS) and FSSC22000, per audit program
* Verification of compliance with NMS, GMP, GSP, QMS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
* Review and evaluation of audit findings, non-conformities, and observations.
* Follow-up and verification of implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
* Support operational departments to ensure timely closure of audit findings.
* Compliance with Care for Consumer (CCC), Friend Helping Friend (AAA), and KSR Coaching initiatives, ensuring a culture of quality and food safety in the factory
* Support execution and follow-up of the supplier audit program, coordinated with relevant functions, ensuring appropriate management of findings related to raw materials and packaging materials.
**Quality Mastership:**
* Participate in continuous improvement projects related to operational efficiency and implementation of digital tools
* Meet and maintain assigned or role-associated KPIs, ensuring timely tracking and reporting.
* Ensure occupational health and safety in the workplace, understand risks and hazards identified in TRSA, and apply operational controls and preventive measures.
* Provide specialized technical quality support to factory departments.
* Serve as the reference point for interpreting standards, procedures, and quality requirements related to material release and monitoring
* Support development of a quality culture, SHE\&QA campaigns, quality initiatives, and compliance across all organizational levels.
* Deliver specific training to operational departments as required.
* Participate as a member of the HACCP team
* Enhance Nestlé leadership competencies and functional Quality competencies required for this position.
**What Will Make You Successful:**
* University graduate or equivalent in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or related fields
* Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles within the food industry, quality control, laboratory, product R&D, or quality supply.
* Experience in sampling, audits, input release, and complaint management.
* Specialization in quality management systems and/or industrial safety (desirable).
* Experience participating in audits.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and statistical tools (Minitab, Six Sigma, Qstat, etc.)
* SAP proficiency (QA experience desirable).
* Advanced Excel.
* Basic Power BI.
* Intermediate English.
