Supervision of third-party work and safety management in the White Room. **Brief Job Description:** Description for Internal Candidates **Brief Job Description:** Electrical Technician: * Primarily responsible for startups, planned maintenance, and emergency repairs of UPS, Emergency Lighting, battery systems, power distribution (STS), and site monitoring equipment. Your secondary responsibility will be to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with our customers, sales teams, distributors, and others that fall within your area of expertise, whilst maintaining active and open dialogue with the wider Vertiv service management team. **JOB SUMMARY** * The Electrical Technician ensures operational continuity of the CPD by monitoring, operating, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and structured cabling systems. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, supervises third-party work, updates drawings, and prepares technical reports. Additionally, conducts network connectivity verification and hardware incident triage, manages access to the White Room, and strictly complies with security protocols. On-site presence and full availability enable timely response to any eventuality in a 24/7 mission-critical infrastructure\. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Continuously monitor the status and performance of electrical, mechanical, and structured cabling systems through rounds, checklists, and BMS/SCADA platforms. * Operate electrical panels, UPS, generators, PDUs, HVAC systems, and other critical equipment following established procedures. * Perform scheduled maintenance and incident response on electrical systems and CPD infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity. * Conduct basic diagnostics and repair minor faults in electrical equipment and structured cabling. * Perform cable pulling, routing, labeling, and organization of structured cabling and electrical feeds as required. * Keep electrical drawings and diagrams updated in AutoCAD, as well as technical records and infrastructure documentation. * Generate incident reports, maintenance reports, operational logs, and documentation required by the bank or supervision. * Monitor and verify activities performed by contractors, suppliers, and auditors within the Data Center, ensuring compliance with standards and protocols. * Authorize, accompany, and supervise external personnel entering the White Room, ensuring adherence to security policies and proper handling procedures. * Verify physical connections of equipment, interfaces, patch cords, switches, and LED status to rule out Level-1 network failures. * Identify and document basic hardware faults in servers or equipment, escalating to the next level per established procedures. * Perform equipment power-on, power-off, or reboot operations under instruction from authorized Technology and Energy personnel of the bank. * Apply electrical safety standards, operational procedures, CPD standards, and guidelines issued by the Maintenance Director. * Respond immediately to alarms, failures, or contingencies, following established protocols to safeguard CPD operations. * Maintain constant on-site availability during shift to address any eventuality or operational requirement. * Attend internal and external training to strengthen technical knowledge and skills required for operating in mission-critical infrastructure. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Minimum Requirements for the Position:** * Technical education in Industrial Electricity, Electrotechnology, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure or facilities. * Solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems. * Experience in structured cabling (pulling, organizing, and verification). * Proficiency with BMS/SCADA monitoring systems. * Knowledge of fire protection systems. * Experience operating UPS, electrical panels, generators, PDUs, and HVAC systems. * Basic AutoCAD proficiency for updating drawings and diagrams. * Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems. * Experience supervising third-party work in mission-critical environments. * Availability for rotating shifts and on-site presence throughout the workday. * Ability to work under strict procedures, safety regulations, and operational protocols. * Capability to respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, or emergencies. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Additional studies in medium- and low-voltage electrical installations. * Specializations or courses in data center infrastructure, facilities, or critical systems. * Training in automation, control, and advanced monitoring systems (BMS, SCADA, PLC). * Certification in structured cabling, fiber optics, or physical networking (e.g., point certification). * Certifications or courses in fire protection, NFPA, clean agents, and detection panels. * Knowledge of basic hardware diagnostics, PDUs, switches, and physical connectivity. * Prior experience in White Rooms or mission-critical environments. * Experience in advanced updating and management of AutoCAD drawings. * Advanced competencies in incident resolution and equipment handling during contingencies. * Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in demanding operational environments. * Participation in internal and external continuous training programs related to critical infrastructure. **EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS** * Technical degree in Industrial Electricity, Electrotechnology, or related fields. * Formal knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, electrical protection, and UPS. * Training in structured cabling, fiber optics, and installation standards. * Training in monitoring systems such as BMS, SCADA, or basic automation. * Knowledge of fire protection (NFPA, clean agents, detection panels). * AutoCAD proficiency for interpretation and updating of drawings. * Courses or certifications related to data center infrastructure, facilities, or critical systems (desirable). * Certification or training in occupational health and safety applicable to electrical installations and critical environments. * Willingness to pursue internal and external continuous training in electrical systems, automation, and CPD operations. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** * Ability to stand for extended periods during rounds and operational activities. * Ability to move constantly between technical rooms, corridors, racks, and equipment areas. * Capacity to lift, move, or handle moderate loads (tools, electrical components, supplies). * Ability to work in confined spaces, under raised floors, or on elevated technical walkways. * Ease in performing tasks in physically demanding positions (crouching, kneeling, stretching, or working at height). * Endurance to work in controlled-noise environments generated by electrical and mechanical equipment. * Adaptation to temperature-controlled environments typical of precision air-conditioned rooms. * Physical responsiveness and immediate mobility in case of alarms, emergencies, or infrastructure failures. * Compliance with health and safety requirements necessary
