**JOB MISSION:** Plan long-term mechanical maintenance activities for plant assets in accordance with MCP’s maintenance objectives, estimate required resources for execution, and administer movements/updates within asset management systems to ensure compliance with MCP’s maintenance objectives and data quality in asset management systems.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Plan long-term mechanical maintenance activities for plant assets in accordance with MCP’s maintenance objectives, including creation and loading of maintenance strategies in SAP.
* Evaluate and oversee weekly scheduling of mechanical maintenance tasks for plant assets, coordinating with maintenance execution and operations departments.
* Evaluate and size projected resource requirements (labor, parts, miscellaneous items) based on long-term plans, coordinating with the logistics department on availability of parts, tools, supplies, and consumables for executing scheduled maintenance programs.
* Create, review, and update equipment, measurement points, measurement documents, SAP strategies, route sheets, plans, work orders, etc., in SAP Master Data related to plant asset management.
* Evaluate and manage scope of work for approved work orders and create necessary services for executing planned maintenance tasks on plant assets.
* Update backlogs according to established work priorities, coordinated with maintenance execution and operations departments.
* Plan work orders / work packages for maintenance execution, including detailed work descriptions and required resources to fulfill planned objectives.
* Report planning KPIs in preparation for L2 meetings, including scheduled workload, weekly meeting minutes, standard jobs created, overdue KPIs, and exception management.
In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project.
Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at an altitude exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level.
It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day.
Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary.
Requirements
**1\.\- Degrees:** MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEERING
**2\.\- Experience:** 8 years overall, 6 years in the sector, 3 years in the position
**3\.\- Technical Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), MS PROJECT (Intermediate), SAP Materials Management (MM) \- Purchasing and Inventory submodules (Intermediate), COMPUTER TOOLS FOR MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT (Advanced)
**4\.\- Certifications:** Specialization Program in Maintenance Management, A1 Driver’s License

* Work order, work package, and backlog management
* Medium- and long-term plant maintenance planning and control
* Resource estimation for plant maintenance plans
* Definition of maintenance objectives and indicators (KPIs) and interpretation of management metrics (cost/performance).
