Job Summary: Purchasing Analyst responsible for generating purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, conducting market research, and leading cost-saving initiatives within a diversified business group. We are ¡Suma Holding!, a business group present in Ica and Lima, currently operating various business units including casinos, restaurants, pharmacies, among others. We are seeking a Purchasing Analyst for our Chacarilla office in Lima. RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate purchase orders for each supplier and commercial line under the assigned Category. Coordinate and follow up with suppliers to meet merchandise delivery schedules. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers for new products and demand lines that enhance profitability. Update product commercial status based on supplier communications. Coordinate with Technical Management, Marketing, and Logistics for the introduction of new products. Implement and monitor profitability indicators per molecule per point of sale. Support points of sale regarding product demand and stock tracking. Coordinate with suppliers for the collection of damaged/expired products until issuance of a credit note. Monitor Pareto product stock levels and seek replacements if necessary. Execute a strategic plan to grow the assigned category by analyzing products, turnover, alternatives, and actions enabling consistent growth of the line, reflected in sales. Prepare reports and documents as directed by the immediate supervisor. Lead initiatives to generate savings and overall value. Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management. Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office. Two years of experience in similar roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
