Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to safety, occupational health, and environmental protection within the company. Additionally, must contribute to the identification, assessment, and control of occupational risks, ensuring that operations are safe and comply with current legal regulations. Key Responsibilities: **1. Regulatory Compliance** * Ensure compliance with Law No. 29783 (Occupational Safety and Health Law) and its regulations. * Verify correct implementation of occupational safety and health standards and procedures as stipulated by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE). * Monitor the implementation and updating of occupational safety and health plans. **2. Occupational Risk Assessment:** * Identify and assess occupational risks across various production processes or client activities. * Conduct occupational safety and health inspections, evaluating potential hazards to workers. * Develop action plans to minimize and/or eliminate identified risks. **3. Training and Awareness:** * Design and coordinate occupational safety and health training and awareness programs for employees. * Deliver training on first aid, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe operation of machinery. **4. Emergency Management:** * Develop, implement, and coordinate emergency drills, evacuations, and contingency plans. * Ensure emergency plans comply with local regulations and are effectively executable. **5. PPE Control and Supervision:** * Supervise proper distribution and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with established standards. * Conduct audits and prepare reports on the condition of PPE at workplaces. **6. Workplace Accident Investigation:** * Investigate workplace accidents and occupational illnesses to determine root causes and prepare detailed reports. * Propose corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence of similar incidents. **7. Technical Advisory Services:** * Provide technical advisory services to clients regarding implementation of occupational safety and health programs. * Conduct internal and external audits to verify compliance with safety-related standards and procedures. **8. Report and Documentation Preparation:** * Prepare and submit periodic reports on the status of occupational safety and health, including incidents, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations. * Maintain up-to-date occupational safety and health documentation and submit required reports to competent authorities. **9. Worker Health Monitoring:** * Coordinate periodic medical examinations for workers, in accordance with Law No. 29783. * Track examination results and propose preventive or corrective actions, if necessary. **10. Environmental Control:** * Conduct studies and inspections of workplace environmental conditions, such as noise levels, temperature, air quality, etc. * Implement necessary corrective measures when hazardous working conditions affecting health are detected. * **Administrative Management:** * Coordinate with local authorities and labor inspection agencies to ensure compliance with OSH regulations. * Manage documentation related to licenses and permits concerning safety, health, and the environment. **11. Continuous Improvement:** * Promote continuous improvement within the occupational safety and health management system through analysis of audit results, inspections, and other evaluations. Requirements: * University degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields. * Minimum two years of experience in similar roles, preferably within consulting firms specializing in occupational safety and health. * Up-to-date knowledge of Peruvian occupational safety and health regulations (e.g., Law No. 29783, Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, etc.). * Proficiency in risk and occupational safety management tools. Skills: * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Strong communication and leadership skills to train and raise awareness among staff. * Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate across different departments.
