Position Summary: Clínica Montefiori is seeking a Hospital Billing Assistant to assemble and process billing files, register patient visits, and issue payment receipts, ensuring regulatory compliance. We are currently seeking outstanding talent to join our large family: 01 HOSPITAL BILLING ASSISTANT Requirements: Technical degree in Administration, Accounting, or related fields Courses in Billing or Insurance Minimum 1 year of experience Knowledge of: Billing and Medical Auditing Regulations, Insurance Plans, SEGUS Fee Schedule Responsibilities: Assemble and process billing files according to each insurance’s requirements and coverage conditions Download necessary reports and test results from the Electronic Clinical Record (HOSIX) for billing files Enter and register data for each patient visit into the electronic transaction system Submit billing files to Medical Auditing for review and validation Issue invoices and receipts according to each insurance’s requirements and coverage conditions Process hospital discharge settlements based on guarantee letters issued by insurers Forward approved invoices and files—including electronic transaction records—to Collections Perform other duties assigned by management Benefits: Formal employment registration from day one, with all legally mandated labor benefits.
