Job Summary: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems to ensure proper operation and reliability. Key Highlights: 1. Support in mechanical manufacturing or repowering projects Primary Responsibility: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring their proper operation, availability, and reliability. Specific Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities on industrial equipment, pumps, structures, etc. * Identify mechanical failures and carry out repair, replacement, or adjustment of parts and components. * Conduct welding and assembly of metal structures according to drawings and technical specifications. * Participate in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. * Comply with occupational safety and health regulations, ensuring correct use of PPE and application of safe work practices. * Support mechanical manufacturing or repowering projects as directed by the immediate supervisor. * Other duties assigned by the immediate superior. Requirements: * Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Fitter, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or in equipment repair and assembly workshops. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Familiarity with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and others.
