Position Summary: We are seeking a technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring their proper operation and reliability. Key Highlights: 1. Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment. 2. Identifying and repairing mechanical failures. 3. Supporting mechanical manufacturing or repowering projects. Primary Responsibility: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring their proper operation, availability, and reliability. Specific Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities on industrial equipment, pumps, structures, etc. * Identify mechanical failures and carry out repairs, replacements, or adjustments of parts and components. * Perform welding and assembly of metal structures in accordance with drawings and technical specifications. * Participate in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. * Comply with occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring correct use of PPE and application of safe practices. * Support mechanical manufacturing or repowering projects as directed by the immediate supervisor. * Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: * Technician or graduate in Mechanical Fitter, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or in repair and assembly workshops for equipment. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. * Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Familiarity with MIG, TIG, and other welding processes.
