Teamwork, proactivity, and initiative **JOIN OUR TEAM!** **Job Description:** At **Katsura**, we are seeking an **Occupational Health and Safety Specialist** to ensure safety and health in the workplace by developing and implementing policies and procedures to prevent occupational accidents and illnesses. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare reports and documentation regarding safety and health conditions. * Maintain up-to-date safety documentation (bulletin boards, safety plans and training materials, etc.). * Hybrid work arrangement: 50% office-based and 50% field-based. * Identify hazards, assess, and control OSH risks. * Supervise proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Coordinate PPE tracking and renewal programs. * Train staff on preventive measures and proper use of protective equipment. * Deliver brief safety talks (10 minutes). * Complete the ATS and Checklists (manual tools, PPE, grinders, welders). * Monitor compliance with occupational safety and health regulations. * Investigate occupational accidents and propose preventive measures. * Develop prevention plans and safety procedures. * Ensure personnel safety and environmental protection. **Requirements:** * Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in occupational safety, preferably within service companies. * Knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation. * Ability to identify, assess, and control risks. **Required Competencies:** * Assertive communication. * Observational and analytical skills. * Negotiation ability. * Empathy and persuasiveness. **Personal Attributes We Value:** * Commitment and responsibility. * Strong analytical and effective communication skills. * Teamwork, proactivity, and initiative. **We Offer:** * A dynamic and continuously growing work environment. * Professional development opportunities. * Market-competitive salary. * Small-company payroll system. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; Saturdays, 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
