At **Paletas Factory**, a leading company in the production of artisanal ice cream and popsicles, we are looking for a **REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN** to join our team in **San Luis**. The position aims to ensure **preventive and corrective maintenance of cold equipment** (freezers, refrigerated display cases, and refrigeration systems), guaranteeing the **preservation and quality** of our products. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on freezers, refrigerated display cases, and other cold systems. * Diagnose and repair malfunctions in refrigeration equipment. * Monitor proper equipment operation and schedule future interventions. * Maintain technical records of performed maintenance activities. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. * Support installation or relocation of new equipment. * Coordinate with the production department to maintain appropriate storage conditions. * Prepare technical reports and propose improvements. **REQUIREMENTS** * Technical degree in Refrigeration, Electronics, or related fields. * **Minimum 2 years’ experience** in maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment (freezers and display cases). * Knowledge of refrigerant gas handling. * Experience in diagnosing and repairing malfunctions. * Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure. * Familiarity with applicable safety regulations. * Availability to respond to emergencies and work rotating shifts. **PREFERRED** * Certification in refrigerant gas handling. * Experience in the food industry or companies with high usage of cold equipment. * Knowledge of temperature monitoring systems. **WE OFFER** * **Salary: S/ 3,000.00 soles.** * Formal employment under MYPE payroll. * Continuous training in new refrigeration technologies. * Growth opportunities. * A positive work environment within an expanding company. **Work Location: San Luis – Lima.** Position Type: Full-time Salary: Starting from S/.2,800.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
