**HPD CONTRATISTAS GENERALES SAC requires (1) SSOMA / CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Licensed and registered engineer with at least two (2) years of professional experience. * Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience. * Diploma in occupational safety and work certificates must specify the construction projects where the candidate has worked. * Experience in occupational safety, health, and environmental management. * Knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation. * Experience supervising high-risk activities (e.g., working at heights, suspended scaffolding, multidirectional scaffolding). * Experience in public-sector construction projects and preparing safety dossiers. **FUNCTIONS:** * Conduct daily safety briefings and staff training at various sites, as assigned by the supervisor. * Train and instruct both internal staff and subcontractors on established occupational safety and health procedures and controls. * Identify, report, and implement measures to control and/or mitigate hazards identified in work areas. * Inspect the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Manage the distribution, replacement, and replenishment of PPE due to loss or damage, maintaining a monthly consumption record. * Conduct scheduled inspections related to SSOMA (fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, safety signage, PPE, collective protective equipment [CPE], first-aid kits, vehicles, forklifts, tools, safety data sheets, etc.). * Verify that staff and/or subcontractors possess valid SCTR insurance and Emergency Medical Officers (EMOs). * Supervise and inspect pre-use checks of equipment for high-risk activities (hot work, work at heights, confined space entry, and/or work involving suspended loads), as required. * Conduct safety induction for new employees upon hiring, coordinated with the Human Resources department, and throughout their employment. * Report SSOMA statistics and monitor implementation of preventive measures. * Supervise safety and environmental conditions during material loading and unloading. * Maintain and update Standard Safe Work Procedures. * Implement corrective actions for staff failing to comply with safety and environmental standards. * Monitor solid waste segregation. * Track compliance with SSOMA documentation requirements—per HPD standards—for visitors and subcontractors. **BENEFITS:** * Formal employment registration from day one. * 100% statutory social benefits. * Construction-site working hours. * One paid day off for birthday.
