Job Description The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supervising and supporting the company's accounting and tax processes, ensuring the reliability of financial information, compliance with current accounting and tax regulations, as well as the proper preparation and review of financial statements. Main Responsibilities Supervise the recording and processing of the company’s accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures. Supervise monthly and annual accounting closings. Review and validate prepared Financial Statements. Supervise compliance with tax obligations. Verify consistency between accounting records and tax returns. Coordinate responses to internal and external audits. Supervise the accounting team’s work. Validate financial reports prior to submission to Management. Requirements Minimum Academic Qualification Certified Public Accountant. Experience 4–8 years of experience in corporate accounting. Experience in accounting closings and preparation of financial statements. Experience supervising or coordinating accounting teams. Experience in corporate environments with comprehensive accounting processes. Technical Knowledge International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Familiarity with the General Corporate Accounting Plan (PCGE). Peruvian tax legislation. Preparation and analysis of financial statements. Proficiency in accounting systems or ERP software. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills. Competencies Accounting and financial analytical ability. Leadership and team supervision. Organization and planning of accounting closings.
