**A leading telecommunications company with 5 locations nationwide is seeking an Internal Plant Engineer to join its team.** * Telecommunications Engineer, Electronics Engineer, or Networks and Communications Engineer * More than 3 years of experience in similar roles. **Position objective:** Comprehensive management of transmission platforms, optical networks, digital headend, and IP services, ensuring operational reliability, stability, and security of all technical services, guaranteeing high-quality delivery of internet, digital TV, and optical transport infrastructure at regional and national levels. **Required skills:** * Problem-solving * Leadership * Pressure tolerance * Clear and technical communication * Attention to detail * Autonomy and proactiveness **Responsibilities:** * IP Network and Routing Management * DWDM Infrastructure and Optical Transport Management * Digital Headend, Transmission, and Video over IP Management and Maintenance * OLT and GPON Network Administration * Perimeter Security and Firewalls * Development and Implementation of Automation * FTTH / FTTX and PTP Link Implementation * Operational monitoring and control **Additional knowledge:** * **Optical management:** Padtec NMS Plus. * **Headend and digital TV:** Astra Cesbo, Flussonic, FFmpeg, IRD Vellux, WellAV, Appear TV, IPQAM modulators, and professional encoders. * **Routers and switching:** MikroTik RouterOS, Datacom, Cisco IOS * **Firewalls:** Cisco ASA, Fortinet FortiGate (with UTM licenses). * **Linux servers:** Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL. * **Virtualization:** Proxmox VE, VMware, Docker. * **Monitoring:** LibreNMS, Zabbix, Observium, phpIPAM. * **Protocols and technologies:** IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SNMP, PTP, VLAN, QinQ, Multicast, NAT/SRNAT. * Extensive expertise in ISP infrastructure, backbone networks, TV headend, perimeter security, virtualization, and process automation. * **Automation:** Python, Bash, Node.js (API integrations and bots). Full mastery of **IP networks, DWDM, digital TV headends, and perimeter security systems.** * Ability to **implement 24/7 critical services** with monitoring and backup. * In-depth knowledge of **optical technologies, IPTV, FTTH, and virtualization.** * Capacity to **lead technical projects**, coordinate teams, and document processes. * Adaptability to new technologies and ISP standards.
