




With over 8,000 kilometers of pipeline designed and in operation, and with a global market share of approximately 80% of all fluid transport pipelines for the mining industry, Ausenco’s Pipeline Consulting group is expanding by bringing on new talent to meet the global demands of its business line and to adapt to ongoing technological changes. We seek innovative individuals who challenge existing methodologies and the status quo to discover new ways of adding value to projects. As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical/Piping Designer to join our Pipeline Consulting team in Peru. **Responsibilities** * Development of 2D and 3D design drawings for long-distance fluid transport facilities, including P&ID, general arrangement (GA), piping design, structural steelwork, and long-distance fluid transport equipment * Supporting the discipline lead in project design development and coordination with other engineering disciplines * Conducting site visits **Requirements** * Technical or professional academic degree in Design Engineering, Technical Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields * Professional experience in the field of 3–5 years * Experience developing projects for the mining sector * Experience designing long-distance fluid transport facilities (preferably mineral slurry transport) * Knowledge of applicable design codes and standards for long-distance fluid transport systems * Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D modules for P&ID, piping, and equipment; generation of drawings and isometrics (**Mandatory**) * Proficiency in AutoCAD * Proficiency in Inventor and Navisworks (**Desirable**) * Proficiency in technical English If you are interested in applying, please send us your CV.
