Position Summary: We are seeking an IT Asset Manager to lead the management of microcomputer hardware and software inventory, keeping information up to date and proposing best practices. Part of a leading company in digital transformation Join our Canvia team! We are looking for an IT Asset Manager to join our Service Desk. What will you do in this role? Lead the management of microcomputer hardware (HW) and software (SW) inventory. Maintain up-to-date information on assets covered by the service. Prepare and deliver monthly reports and deliverables on equipment status. Propose and evaluate best practices for inventory control. Manage annual inventory loads and maintain the database of covered equipment. Identify, register, and control Configuration Items (CIs) within the asset park. Administer equipment onboarding, offboarding, modifications, and assignments. Link each CI to incidents and requests. Coordinate with the client equipment and spare parts (backup) transfers between different sites. What we are looking for in you: Education: Technical or university graduate in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, Systems, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in asset and inventory management. Proven experience using ITSM tools, including CMDB updates and Kardex control. MANDATORY: Experience managing an IT asset park of at least 6,000 units. Desirable experience in computer equipment support and physical inventory.
