Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Budget Engineer to develop technical and commercial documentation, coordinate proposals, and prepare budgets and unit price analyses in the mining and construction sectors. Advisory services for tenders and technical-economic bids Our organization, San Martin Contractors in the Mining and Construction Sector, is currently seeking outstanding professionals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for: Senior Budget Engineer – Mining REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in budgeting and tendering for mining or construction projects. Strong knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting. Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency (desirable). Experience with SAP (MM / CO or other related modules). Proficiency in budgeting software (e.g., S10, Primavera, or others). Availability to work Monday through Friday in Lima. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare technical and commercial documentation according to the requirements specified in the tender documents. Coordinate the development of technical proposals with all relevant departments. Maintain and ensure timely updates to the pricing database (labor, equipment, tools, services, subcontractors, etc.). Develop schedules, organizational charts, histograms, work plans, and/or work procedures. Prepare cost budgets as well as unit price analyses, indirect cost analyses, and resource lists. Respond to clients’ technical inquiries. Conduct technical visits to clients and project sites. Advise team members on tender processes and preparation of Technical-Economic Bids. Perform other duties inherent to the position.
