DESCRIPTION A major Japanese company is seeking a professional to fill the position of Accounting Manager with the following responsibilities: * Continuously improve accounting procedures. * Supervise and direct daily accounting operations. * Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements. * Monitor cash flow, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. * Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits. * Ensure compliance with tax obligations, guaranteeing correct interpretation and application of current tax regulations issued by the tax authority. * Support the decision-making process through relevant and timely financial analysis and reporting to support strategic management by senior leadership. REQUIREMENTS * Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing. * SAP proficiency. * Advanced-level Excel skills. * Knowledge of IFRS. * Tax knowledge. * English: advanced. * Minimum 5 years of experience in related positions. * 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. * 5 years of experience managing teams. * Experience in retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), Big Four, or related industries.
