MISSION Identify, classify, and record the receipt and/or dispatch of products to ensure cargo service quality. FUNCTIONS Register, monitor, and verify data of cargo handled through its hatch or holds during discharge, loading, transshipment, and re-loading operations. Account for cargo loaded or discharged from products received at the pier or alongside the vessel, warehouse, designated area, or onboard, as applicable. Record all information—including cargo type, quantity, marks, external packaging condition and state—in the Tally Sheet; also indicate if cargo was segregated for inventory purposes. Verify proper dispatch of shipments to their destination port and of discharges to designated storage locations—or to locations requiring forced and immediate dispatch—as well as the movement of empty containers and unaccompanied baggage. Sign the Dispatch Tally Sheet to confirm dispatched cargo, and likewise request signatures on it from the carrier, customs agent, and client/consignee. At the conclusion of vessel discharge, verify and deliver the vessel tally reconciliation report to the Warehousing and Traffic Office, submitting it via the corresponding Tally Reconciliation Form. In cases involving dangerous cargo, submit the Product Safety Data Sheet. At TISUR, we don’t just move cargo—we move the future!
