In Peru, we take pride in delivering safe, efficient, and operationally excellent port maneuvers. **If you seek an environment that values safety, professional development, and innovation in the maritime sector, this is your opportunity to grow with us.** For this position, prior experience as a **Captain on azimuthal tugboats**, performing **berthing and unberthing maneuvers**, is desirable. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure compliance—and enforce compliance among all subordinates—with applicable laws and regulations; maintain discipline onboard the vessel and oversee the fulfillment of duties by crew members of all categories and functions under command. * Conduct (or arrange for) daily inspections of the vessel to verify cleanliness, hygiene, and safety conditions. * Comply with provisions outlined in instructions regarding onboard lifesaving equipment; take all precautions necessary to ensure the vessel’s full safety both at sea and in port. * Test—all tugboat equipment together with subordinates—prior to vessel berthing and unberthing maneuvers to prevent accidents during operations. * Maintain up-to-date documentation through rigorous control of document entry and exit. * Operate the tugboat safely and responsibly. **Required Certifications for the Role:** * Certificate of Competency as Master/Chief Officer (STCW Regulation II/2\) * Valid STCW Certificate * Valid Seafarer’s Book * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Are you a professional with **technical experience operating azimuthal tugboats**, seeking **professional development**, and aiming to **make a difference**?
