Job Summary: A steel importer and distributor seeks a Warehouse Operator to perform merchandise conditioning and control, ensuring organization and compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for merchandise conditioning, control, and counting. 2. Conducts daily, cyclic, and family-type inventories. 3. Maintains warehouse order and organization, complying with safety standards. A steel importing and trading company is seeking a Warehouse Operator. Work Location: Pacífico Branch (in front of the Good Year store on Av. Argentina) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (availability for weekend overtime required). Requirements: Completed secondary education. Experience operating forklifts is desirable. Minimum one year of operational work experience, preferably in iron or similar material warehouses. Main Responsibilities: Perform merchandise conditioning according to established procedures (receiving, inspection, counting, sampling, labeling, storage, and dispatch). Carry out merchandise control and counting, ensuring inventory accuracy and preventing claims. Conduct daily, cyclic, and family-type inventories. Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming or defective merchandise (damage, quality issues, or others). Prepare, receive, dispatch, and verify merchandise against delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders. Inspect material condition prior to dispatch, generating evidence to prevent claims. Maintain warehouse order and proper organization. Comply with internal occupational health and safety regulations.
