Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a mass consumption distributor, responsible for recording, controlling, and managing banking transactions and supplier payments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages banking transactions and payments to suppliers. 2. Collaborates with accounting and procurement departments. 3. Maintains control over payment due dates and the supplier portfolio. ZV Distribuidores SAC, a mass consumption products distributor operating in North Lima with an extensive client base and representation of leading suppliers in the industry, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant who meets the following profile: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum one (1) year of experience, preferably in mass consumption distribution companies. Proficiency in banking platforms (Mandatory). Intermediate knowledge of Excel. Availability to work in Los Olivos from Monday to Saturday. Responsible, honest, team-oriented, able to work under pressure, ethical, organized, and communicative. Responsibilities: Daily registration and control of transactions executed in each bank account. Monitoring and updating of bank movements and balances. Preparation of electronic transfers (e.g., telecredits, BBVA Netcash, telebanking, others). Coordination with suppliers regarding delivery of invoices and credit notes. Coordination with the accounting department on paid invoices. Maintaining control over payment due dates to ensure timely settlement of contracted services and goods. Managing and processing promissory notes issued by suppliers. Communicating with and addressing supplier inquiries related to payments. Providing weekly reports to relevant departments or stakeholders on the status of accounts payable. Supporting procurement processes. Maintaining an updated supplier portfolio. Assisting in contacting suppliers to negotiate the most favorable payment terms for the company. Performing other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor or other members of management.
