Job Summary: We are seeking a warehouse worker to manage the control and supply of food products and supplies, ensuring hygiene and quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage product and supply inventory control 2. Ensure optimal product conditions and rotation 3. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area A reputable food concessionaire company in the market requires a warehouse worker to join our Ate Vitarte branch. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure compliance with established technical and control procedures in the warehouse. Coordinate and control the procurement management of products and supplies under strict hygiene standards, in accordance with established procedures and instructions. Supply the kitchen with required supplies and products for lunch preparation according to the scheduled plan. Verify that products and supplies are in optimal condition for their respective use in food preparation before their validity period expires. Keep your work area clean and organized. Clean refrigeration chambers and maintain them in optimal condition prior to receiving weekly orders. Prepare product and supply requisition orders well in advance, aligned with the schedule of approved menus. Receive and inspect merchandise quality according to the requisition order approved by Operations and Logistics. Label and classify products and supplies for proper storage in an orderly and hygienic manner, in compliance with quality control standards and policies. Control appropriate rotation of supplies and products. Maintain kardex records for incoming and outgoing products and supplies under your custody and responsibility. Handle warehouse equipment and goods—whether for storage or immediate consumption—properly. Verify that products and supplies received into the warehouse meet specified quality standards, net weights, expiration dates, sanitary registrations, appropriate packaging, and suitable storage temperatures. Identify potential spoilage or losses during storage and rotate food stocks appropriately in the warehouse to use the oldest items first. Provide requested items in advance for the corresponding shift, according to the menu schedule. Other duties inherent to the position. WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of work experience Customer and/or supplier interaction experience EDUCATION: Minimum: Technical higher education in computing and informatics.
