Job Summary: A leading chocolate company is seeking a Process Laboratory Technician to conduct physicochemical and sensory analyses and ensure product quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform physicochemical and sensory analyses of raw materials and products 2. Participate in customer trials and verification of analytical methods 3. Responsible for releasing bulk products and warehouse control We are Machu Picchu Foods, a major company dedicated to chocolate and derivative production, a market leader in Peru with international presence. We are currently seeking a Process Laboratory Technician for our Callao plant. Profile: Chemical Technician, Food Industries and/or related fields (MANDATORY) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Analyst or working in food laboratories. Availability to work in Callao. Availability to work rotating shifts. Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities: Conduct physicochemical and sensory analyses of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products according to product specifications. Record analysis results in the database and respective forms. In case of any non-conformity, notify the on-duty auditor and participate in corresponding corrective actions. Perform verification of laboratory equipment according to frequencies established in the laboratory’s self-control plan (PAC). Participate in Nestlé’s customer trial named FOOD CHEM TEST, conducted twice per year. Perform validation and verification of analytical methods to ensure reliable results. Request necessary materials for respective physicochemical analyses. Maintain control and order of the retention sample warehouse. Responsible for visually and systemically (SAP) releasing bulk products (tankers, bins, refined powders). Comply with requirements assigned to the Management System for Asset Control and Security; Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Protection.
