Job Summary: We are seeking a welding technician with experience in fire protection systems to operate machinery, perform welding, assembly, and installation of piping. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate and handle specialized machinery and tools 2. Perform welding and pipe assembly in various environments 3. Install pipes, valves, and fittings A Peruvian company specializing in the installation of electromechanical systems—including fire protection, constant pressure, drainage and sump, ventilation, and HVAC—has offices in Bellavista and works across major districts of Lima. The company requires hiring a professional with the following profile. Requirements: • Technical studies in Welding, Metal Construction, or related fields. • Experience in industrial companies within the fire protection sector, in positions with similar characteristics and responsibilities. • Proficiency in operating machinery and tools related to fire protection systems: pump rooms and networks. Responsibilities: • Operate machines such as pipe threaders, groovers, bench drills, hammer drills, grinders, pipe cutters, among others. • Perform welding, assembly, and piping installations across various pipe diameters and work capacities as required by each service. • Install pipes, valves, fittings, couplings, hangers, and all components related to pipe assembly. • Perform welding joints in confined spaces, at heights, and at different floor levels. • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, written instructions, and diagrams to carry out assigned tasks. • Adhere to project scheduling for assigned tasks. • Coordinate with fieldwork teams for efficient installations. • Assist in transporting equipment to the worksite, loading and unloading materials at the job site. • Comply with and implement the Management System’s Policy and Objectives, as well as applicable legal regulations concerning labor, occupational safety, and health.
