We are currently seeking a committed, results-oriented professional to join our team on mining projects. **Are you interested?** Send your documented CV to: **rrhh@gamtgroup.com** ***Subject: SSOMA Safety Engineer – Mine*** **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) standards in mining projects. * Verify proper execution of work related to installation, assembly, and commissioning of electrical panels at the mine. * Develop, implement, and update procedures, Safe Work Practices (PETS), Task-Specific Analyses (ATS), Job Hazard Analyses (IPERC), and other safety documentation required by the client. * Conduct field safety inspections, identifying hazards and establishing operational controls. * Supervise electrical work, lockout/tagout (LOTO), equipment energization, and high-risk activities. * Participate in safety meetings with the client and operational staff. * Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and action plans. * Manage safety performance indicators and prepare reports for management and clients. * Coordinate inductions, training sessions, and safety campaigns. * Supervise correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections, audits, and regulatory oversight. * Ensure compliance with safety standards established by the mining unit. **Requirements** * Degree holder and licensed professional in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mining operations or projects. * Proven experience supervising electrical work and installation of electrical panels in mining units. * Knowledge of Law No. 29783 and Supreme Decree No. 024\-2016\-EM and its amendments. * Experience developing IPERC, ATS, PETS, work permits, and risk management. * Knowledge of high-risk activities: electrical work, working at height, confined space entry, and load lifting. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Preferred: Training in ISO 45001 and internal audits. * Willingness to travel and work under mining labor regimes. **Competencies** * Leadership and supervisory capability. * Effective communication. * Planning and organization. * Analytical ability and decision-making. * Goal-oriented mindset. * Teamwork. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Zero disabling accidents. * Compliance with the project’s safety plan. * Completion of scheduled inspections and audits. * Percentage of observations resolved within the established timeframe. * Completion of scheduled trainings and inductions. * Compliance with legal requirements and client standards. **Responsibilities** * Ensure personnel physical integrity during work execution. * Guarantee compliance with the mining unit’s SSOMA standards. * Ensure safe execution of electrical panel installation and assembly activities. * Maintain up-to-date documentation for the Occupational Safety and Health Management System. * Represent GAMT before the client on matters related to Occupational Safety and Health. ***If you are passionate about challenges, operational safety, and working in mining, this is your opportunity to join GAMT!*** Salary: Starting from S/.2,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
