The sales manager is responsible for driving the sale of high-tech electrical measurement equipment and instruments. This role requires acting as an expert advisor who combines solid technical knowledge with strategic commercial skills.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Intermediate or higher level of English language proficiency is desirable.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Intermediate or advanced office software proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Knowledge of issuing orders, shipping documents, and invoicing.
- Customer orientation and strong communication: Ability to proactively understand and address customer needs.
- Familiarity and experience with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consultative Sales and Prospecting:
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate strong relationships with high-value potential customers (large industries, electric utilities, contractors, etc.).
- Maintain key contact with decision-makers (Maintenance Managers, Engineering Managers) to ensure loyalty and repeat sales.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets in long and complex sales cycles.
Technical Advisory and Documentation:
- Conduct technical and commercial visits for needs assessment and solution presentation.
- Perform hands-on equipment demonstrations and provide basic training on usage and direct benefits.
- Draft detailed technical-commercial proposals that, beyond pricing, justify value, application, and regulatory compliance of the equipment.
- Stay updated on local and international electrical standards (IEC or ANSI/IEEE) to ensure solution suitability.
Sales Closure and Post-Sales Management:
- Continuously follow up on proposals until successful sale closure.
- Ensure post-sales follow-up to confirm proper equipment installation and full customer satisfaction with performance.
Administrative Support:
- Manage and process commercial and administrative documentation associated with sales (quotations, contracts, orders, invoicing).
