Job Summary: We are seeking an Export Assistant to comprehensively coordinate ocean and air export shipments, manage documentation, and provide customer service for an international freight forwarding agency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive coordination of export shipments (ocean and air) 2. Management of bookings and export documentation 3. Customer service and resolution of operational incidents Export Assistant – International Freight Forwarding Agency Lima, Peru | Mode: On-site We are a growing international freight forwarding agency currently seeking an Export Assistant to join our operations team. What Are We Looking For? • Technical or university degree in International Trade, International Business, or related fields. • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in similar positions (mandatory experience in a freight forwarding agency). • Knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation. • Intermediate English (focused on reading and writing). • Proficiency in Excel and logistics systems. Main Responsibilities: • Comprehensive coordination of export shipments (ocean and air) • Booking management with shipping lines • Issuance and review of documents: HBL, MBL, invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc. • Cargo tracking from origin to destination. • Coordination with overseas agents, clients, and suppliers. • Review of shipping instructions (SI). • Cost control and provisioning under coordination with the responsible sales representative. • Customer service and resolution of operational incidents.
