Education and Knowledge Technical or university graduate in Food Engineering, Agroindustrial Engineering, Biology, or related fields. Desirable knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and analytical methods. Minimum 6 months of prior experience in quality assurance. Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. Functions and Responsibilities You will assist in preparing materials, diluents, and culture media for microbiological and physicochemical analyses. You will assist in the sampling and physicochemical analysis of raw materials, inputs, and packaging materials. You will assist in the sampling and physicochemical analysis of raw milk and finished products. You will assist in surface sampling (living and inert surfaces) and environmental monitoring in processing plants. You will assist in dimensional controls of packaging and packing material samples. You will assist in the verification of laboratory analytical equipment. You will be aware of occupational safety and health hazards and risks associated with your position. You will report work-related incidents and accidents. You will report unsafe acts and conditions to your immediate supervisor or the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) department.
