REEFER TECHNICIAN - CALLAO

Position Summary: Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of refrigerated containers to support continuous import and export operations. Key Highlights: 1. Repair of refrigerated container (reefer) cooling systems. 2. On-site assistance and support services at ports, vessels, or client facilities. 3. Work for a leading provider of port and airport services. REEFER TECHNICIAN Conduct proper inspections of container conditions to identify structural damage and subsequently report findings to associated shipping lines. Support all operational tasks required to ensure continuous import and export container flow. FUNCTIONS Assign refrigerated containers in stock according to the nature and condition of cargo to be loaded, followed by system assignment performed by Customer Service. Perform diagnostics or inspections of refrigerated containers from associated lines using PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection). Carry out repairs on refrigerated container (reefer) cooling systems upon approval of cost estimates for repair-related expenses (in accordance with each line's established criteria for reefer container repairs). Provide assistance, support, or repair services for refrigerated containers (reefer) at ports, line vessels, or client facilities. Prepare monthly reports aligned with tasks completed by the reefer technician. Deliver Cold Treatment services, including: Supporting IICL inspectors during inspections of refrigerated containers. Requirements Graduate of Industrial Refrigeration, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or related technical programs. Training in container repair and knowledge of reefer repair (Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin, Star Cool, Super Freezer, and Controlled Atmosphere). Minimum 1 year of experience as a Reefer Technician.
