Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Technologist in Occupational Therapy to assess, intervene, and support patients in developing meaningful activities, working collaboratively as part of a team and with strong ethical commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Intervention in regulation, autonomy, coordination, and fine motor skills.
2. Training for caregivers and coordination with other contexts.
3. Contribution to workshops and proposals for service improvement.
Our client is seeking a **Medical Technologist \- Occupational Therapy**
**Academic Qualifications**
* Professional degree as a Medical Technologist.
* Valid registration and licensure from the College of Medical Technologists of Peru.
* Preferred training in sensory integration or sensory processing, neurodevelopment, activities of daily living, play, and school participation.
**Experience**
* Minimum **1 year** of experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
* Experience in assessment and management of patients with language, communication, and learning disorders.
* Preferred experience in occupational clinics, medical centers, hospitals, or rehabilitation centers.
* Experience in preparing psychological reports and clinical progress notes.
**Knowledge**
* Child development, occupational performance, and participation.
* Sensory processing, coordination, praxis, and fine motor skills, according to training.
* Design of environmental adaptations, routines, and generalization strategies.
* Safe handling of therapeutic materials and equipment.
* Child and adult development.
* Confidentiality, informed consent, data protection, and clinical records.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Establish baseline assessments and priorities related to meaningful activities.
* Identify signs requiring evaluation by another discipline or external referral.
* Intervene in regulation, autonomy, coordination, fine motor skills, praxis, play, and routines as needed.
* Provide concrete guidelines for routines, self-care, play, study, and participation.
* Train caregivers on the safe use of strategies and materials.
* Coordinate with schools or other contexts with family authorization.
* Contribute to workshops, educational content, and proposals for service improvement.
* Adhere to clinic quality and confidentiality protocols.
* Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by management.
